We all have a tendency to gain weight as we age. Changes occur in our metabolism and - if they’re paired with changes in our lifestyle - it can spell a recipe for disaster. Suddenly, the same fitness routines and eating habits we’ve always had no longer guarantee the same results - a balanced weight and a lean and toned body can be harder to maintain.
Gaining weight can be a result of ageing, including hormonal changes and the slowing metabolism that comes with it. It can also be a result of medication, or may even be hereditary - but it will mainly be a result of your diet.
