What is the minimum age to attend Holmes Place?

The minimum age to access the gym area is 14 years old, with authorization from a parent or legal guardian. Younger children may attend the club through classes and activities designed for them, such as swimming, adapted to their age.

Yes. Holmes Place offers activities for children, especially swimming and aquatic classes, designed to promote physical development, water confidence, and healthy lifestyle habits from an early age.

What is the minimum age for children to participate in activities?

Aquatic activities can start from the first months of life through baby swimming programs. As children grow, they can progress to swimming lessons adapted to their age and learning level.

Do parents need to be members to enroll a child?

Depending on the club, children may participate in activities even if their parents are not members. However, we recommend confirming the specific conditions with the club where you wish to enroll your child.

Swimming Pool

Are swimming lessons adapted to the child’s level?

Yes. Lessons are organized by learning levels, allowing each child to progress at their own pace, with guidance from qualified instructors in a safe environment.

What are the pool rules?

- Take a full shower before entering the pool

- Wearing a swim cap, flip-flops, and appropriate swimwear is mandatory

- The swim cap must cover all hair during the lesson

- Babies must wear waterproof swim diapers

- Parents/guardians are not allowed to stay during the lesson (they may watch the last 5 minutes without interfering)

- During free swim sessions, children under 14 must be supervised by a responsible adult, with prior booking via the app

When are swimming assessments carried out?

Swimming assessments take place twice a year:

- Second half of January – level transition in February

- Second half of June – level transition in July

Assessments are sent to all children who move up a level. If you wish to speak with the instructor, you may schedule a meeting directly.

Can I watch my child’s lessons?

For pedagogical and safety reasons, parents/guardians are generally not allowed to remain in the pool area during lessons. In some clubs, it may be possible to watch the final minutes of the class without interfering.
