Celebrity workouts
From @shakira to @Madonna, here are our top celebrity workouts the stars swear by. #HolmesPlace #EnjoyTheJourney
The OSCARS are almost here and we take a look at the workouts celebrities swear by. The life of an A-list celebrity is busy. Touring, interviews, red carpet premiers, filming movies, indulging in mountains of champagne… but if they can make time to work out, then so can we. Whether it’s a fitness class they’re flocking to or a new workout trend exercise they swear by, celebrities are always ahead of the game when it comes to working out. The good news is, they like to tell everyone their secrets - so we get to try them out ourselves. Here are a few of our favourite Celebrity Workouts:
Aerial Fusion Fitness
Want to float in the air? Experience something new? Aerial Fusion mixes yoga and fitness. Try one one of these classes and alter your relationship to the ground as you work through a session combining pilates, yoga, dance and gymnastic. The class is amazing for anyone that has back issues; as it decompresses and stretches your spine. The exercise also increases muscular flexibility, releases tension in the muscles and strengthens the core, upper and lower body. Pink swears by it.
iCycle
Cycling is loved by celebrities including Lady Gaga, Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes. This heavy-duty cardio workout is giving Hollywood’s hottest actresses and musicians beautifully sculpted bodies. It’s a combination of intense cycling and upper body toning. iCycle allows burning up to 700 calories in 45 minutes. In a special studio, sweating it out to the sound of immense beats and a massively motivating instructor - it’s no wonder the stars are addicted.
Dancing
You don’t have to be Shakira to get into the rhythm of belly dancing - but she did get her abs from doing it. Not only Shakira, but Rihanna, Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian and Catherine Zeta Jones enjoy dancing and belly dancing. As well as being super fun, dancing classes tone the abs, tighten your hips and work your waist all at the same time. Book a Holmes Place dancing class to experience these fun workouts.
CrossFit
It may well have been around for years now, but CrossFit is still hotter than ever. With celebrity fans such as Madonna and Cameron Diaz kicking butt in classes. Needless to say, it’s one of the most intense celebrity workouts ever; mixing everything from pull-ups to squats, push-ups to gymnastics, and running to rowing. Not forgetting weightlifting, of course. You don’t have to be a completely ripped celebrity to do it. Anyone can have a go.
