Petros Varelas - Assistant Club Manager - Holmes Place
Petros Varelas, Assistant Club Manager at Holmes Place Greece, is a doting father — and he’s not afraid to show it. He has been in touch with Holmes Place for 15 years, and he’s a real brand ambassador. This is his story.
How did you begin and what stands out in your journey?
I began working at Holmes Place Maroussi five years ago as a Membership Consultant. However, my relationship with this company goes way back. Before that, I was already familiarised with Holmes Place because, in the past ten years, my wife was working here. When someone say that Holmes Place is like a family, for me is literally family. Plus, I was also soon introduced to this company's philosophy, its goals and even its monthly targets. All this was incredibly useful, of course, when I joined the company - because I was already acquainted with the company's processes. Since the beginning, I knew that I had to be fully committed, give 100% but, most importantly, enjoy the journey.
What is your passion and what do you love about it?
I have a beautiful daughter. She's now nine years old, and I think most fathers reading this will relate to me when I say that she is my passion. In my free time, I like to be with her, of course. Spend some quality time with her. Slow down and enjoy Greece's nature, especially during weekends, and share the love with all my loved ones. In my daily work, I keep my team happy and committed to Holmes Place vision and mission.
What are your next goals?
I have two goals for the future. The first of all, as a proud doting father, is to enjoy all the time I can with my daughter and be a good role model for her. I want to see her become a notable young lady. On work-related goals, this year, I seek to keep improving as Assistant Club Manager and, shortly, become Club Manager.
