Frequently Asked Questions about the Holmes Place Ethics Line

What is the Whistleblowing Channel?

The Whistleblowing Channel, also known as the Ethics Line, is a secure, independent, and impartial communication channel managed by Holmes Place. It is available for you to report any observed or suspected situations that may violate legal requirements or internal standards.

Please note that, if you prefer, you may file your report anonymously. However, if you choose to identify yourself, your identity will be treated with the utmost confidentiality, ensuring your safety and guaranteeing that no action will be taken by the organization that could harm you.

What type of report can I make?

Irregularities are considered to be any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions attributed to the conduct of Employees, Staff Members, or members of the Holmes Place Management Bodies, provided they affect either an individual or the organization. These include any unethical or unlawful conduct, violations of the values or ethical standards defined in the Code of Conduct, as well as breaches of policies and manuals currently in force within the organization.

Can I be penalized for filing a report?

No. The Whistleblowing Channel was designed to ensure the complete security of your data when filing a report. Internal control mechanisms have been implemented to prevent any report from being directed to employees who may be involved in the situation.

Additionally, your identifying information, if provided, will be fully protected. If you prefer not to disclose it, the reported facts will still be investigated while preserving your anonymity.

When can I submit a report? At what times?

This platform is available for reporting at any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What information should I provide when submitting a report?

It is essential that you provide as much information and detail as possible in your report to allow for a thorough investigation.

At a minimum, please include:

  • The type of incident being reported;
  • A brief description of the facts supporting the reported irregularity;
  • Whether the situation was observed directly, experienced, or suspected;
  • Whether the situation is ongoing;
  • Any supporting documents you may have related to the irregularity (e.g., photos, reports, etc.);
  • The relationship of the individual responsible for the irregularity with our organization.
How can I track the progress of my report?

Once your report has been submitted, an access code will be automatically generated. This code will allow you to log in and follow the progress of your case. Please note that without the access code it will not be possible to access or monitor the status of the report. Be sure to keep the code stored in a safe place.
